Don't know what I am going to do with it, no projects for it. Oh well, back to the garage and into a box.

Dug this out today. Cold and gloomy here today so I've been looking over older posts.
When looking at this picture of your stock...

Is that a Dutched In Patch at the rear of the barrel channel?
Maybe they punched out the hole while drilling for the band spring, thus the repair.
Seen this area repaired often with small plugs, but this is the largest I've seen.
It's an old post, but brought it up before I lose it.
