P-14 Range Report

In part one I described the problem of the rifle shooting high with the rear sight lying flat. After simply flipping it up and sliding the aperture down all the way as suggested by other users I found that it was deadly acurate. I could shoot tight groups at 100yds and decent groups at 200yds. Afterwards I began shooting my bowling pins at 100yds and it never missed. I love this rifle and bowling pins make outstanding targets for their durrability. Eventually they start swelling and bulging like pineapples because they trap the bullets inside most of the time without damaging the surface much at all. My 1937 M91/30 proved to be just as accurate as my P-14 with no adjustments needed. I'm going back to the range this weekend for some more shooting fun.
