    Fortunately, thanks to the newish Forrest Highway, it is now less than a 2 hour drive south, to a club where every second Saturday, all shooters are welcome and the focus is on shooting service and field rifles, regardless of origin/model/providence.

    Thanks to a big effort from Ned and others, the number of powered campsites are increasing and the mounds out to 300 metres are well watered.

    They are a great bunch. Very forgiving.

    They must be, they let me in.

    And its not just me as membership is strong and attendence at the November shoot is growing.

    To quote one of my competitors...."it's worth the drive south"
