    M14 receivers

Finally I managed to complete my collection of M14icon receivers - I wanted to have every manufacturer. The Springfield manufactured receiver cost me nearly 50% more than I had to pay for the others, but it was the only one lacking in my collection, and you don't know when you get the chance once again

What I noticed on all of them: why are there the little "circled" scratches on left side of the S/N. Is this common with the M14 receivers, or is that a special marking?
