Well it is that time of the year again when I think of those brave young men under the command of General Arthur Currie who went over the top in the Battle for Vimy Ridge.

They were a brave lot and Canada proved that day we were the best and that continues to this day.

Please take a few seconds on Monday to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the good of mankind. I am fortunate as my father made it home, many of his closest friends didn't and I was able to pay my respects to them when I visited France a few years ago..
