    A little humour but interesting.

Charlie likes these old pics. I took these two from a book, and they depict two GIs at a dance in New Zealandicon in 1942/early 43. I'm not sure if they were trying to get into the dance, trying to stop uninvited people going to the dance, or were just observing the activities as they were on duty ! They appear to be enjoying themselves anyway and so they should ! Of interest to me is the weapon they had with them at the time, is that a "trench gun", can anyone identify it ?. Sorry, can't get better pics. Cheers, Mike. Attachment 33082Attachment 33083
