    But seriously, “it’s your rifle do as you please” is not good enough. Whoever takes a rifle to a range has a duty to make sure that it is safe. And thus to carry out as much dismantling and inspection as is necessary for that purpose. Or, failing the appropriate knowhow, to have it done by a competent person.
