Hey all,

A few weeks ago I had a reloaded case rupture resulting in the case head being ejected and the rest being stuck in the chamber, the case will not shake free as I have read some do. I ordered the correct tool being a surplus ruptured case ectractor tool, I tried using it but with no luck the tool just ejects leaving the case in the chamber. Is there a trick to using one of these? should I be forcing the bolt to fully close on it? (I only closed it as far as I could until by hand) should I be using a lubricant of any kind?

Any input would help so I can get my fav No.4 back in action
