Hi,
I'm away from home at the moment so can't get to my books. Our club rifle 'Slack Alice' has just been refurbed but I'd like to know more about it. It is marked:-
Left Side of Receiver: No 4 Mk1 ROF (F) 7/44. Does that just mean a Mk 1 Royal Ordnace Fazakerly July 1944 or is that too simple? It is ROF NOT POF!
The number is electro pencilled NC 26917
The Cocking Piece is marked 1956 M47/c
The Magazine Follower has an S in a square (Savage?)
The bolt has a 'Square C with rhe letters PF inside it and is numbered 34140
So your ideas please!
ThanksInformation
