I want to say hellow to all the members.
I have recently traded for a Remington 1903 manufactured in May 1942, wit a replacement High Standard barrel dated 5 44, with Remington inspection stamps.
The rifle is in very good to excellent condition.
Some of the parts do not have the R stamped on them.
My question is: "Is it worth finding the R stamped parts and replacing them.
The second part of my question is that the finish on the receiver is somewhat rough, not like the majority of the 03 recievers I am formilure with. How Come?
Thanks for your help Guys,
Gary Remington
