WRA stocks are often found with a number/letter stamped on the stock's bridge.
Sometimes also on the inner right shelf.
Thoughts are it could be a Inspection,shift or station marking.

I don't recall ever seeing a X on a WRA bolt lug before..... Maybe added by someone knowing it was a perfect fit (?)

BTW, I have WRA 5,811,227 with Flat bolt and type II barrel band. But no lube/drain hole on the trigger housing.
Every WRA I own shows marks in the finish from assembly of pre-finished parts.
