    The SMLE .22 trainer with Garand rear sight (officially military adopted)

    Take a look at this rifle: Armiusate.it :: Genova : Armi lunghe : Enfield No.1MkIII Conversione FAT .22 Long Rifle (maybe Doug will save it here anyway, we'll see)

    It's an officially converted rifle done in 1972. Please also note the transit chest in the background!
