It would be snug. The bolt face seems to be the same size as my Yugoicon 8x57. The 284 fits fairly well with it's .473" dia. The 6.5 swiss barely fit with it's .479" dia. However the swiss's tightness also came from the rim being quite a bit thicker. That breda is an interesting alternative. I'll be giving it some thought for sure.
