New member. Just got Inland M1 from my wife as a Christmas gift. So far here is what I know about the gun:

1. Inland Serial 3190424 - Made April/May 1944.
2. Inland barrel stamped 12-43.
3. Benicia Arsenal rebuild.
4. Bottom of stock grip has a "P"
5. Just below B.A. stamp is CAB

Couple of questions...
1. CAB was an Inspector at Benica?
2. Stock marked U.S.C.G - does this mean Coast Guard issued?
3. What is the P?
