SO I was hoping to get some info and advice. I have 2 Ishapore 2A rifles. One I had stripped and refinished in a gray cerakote. It looks like parkerizing but not quite. The other is still as I bought it. Caked on cosmo and what I believe is suncorite. The sight has so many layers of paint on it, that it won't even move. I want to restore both to military finish, but have not found adeqquate info on what the rifles would have been like when forst issued. They are 1964 and 1965 dated 2a's. I have seen one on gunbroker that was said to be arsenal refinished, but odd thing is that the bolt was completely in the white. I've never seen any enfield with a bolt in the white unless it is a commercial or sporterized model.

The devil is in the details and I want to duplicate new issue as closely as possible. If anyone has pictures to aid in my endeavor, I would appreciate it greatly.
