I have spent six months looking for originals manuals for my M3 Carbine without any success. I purchased a couple of photocopies, but was very unhappy about the results.
Then I ran into a web site, Garand, M1, M14, M16, Carbine, 1911, 1917, Militaria, Small Arms, that sells reproduced government books and drawings that are "obsolete". I purchased SA-ITM-S201, Carbines Cal. .30, M2 and M3 Ordance Inspector Training Manual.
The manual was professionally done, with all the photographs and easy to read. If you are looking for that impossible to find manual or want the original blue print of your weapon, I highly suggest looking up Nicolaus Associates. He can also be found at Coast Guard Coffee Mugs, Posters, and Pictures From A Bygone Era. You can call him at 706-367-1257.
