    My meagre knowledge suggests that they both could be Britishicon. We need close up photos of the ricasso - the area just in front of the crosspiece, before the start of the edge. Even the faintest of marks will help. For instance, the British proof mark on bayonets is a slightly irregular-looking X-mark, symbolising crossed blades.
