    More AKM stuff

    This is from yesterday afternoon. All the parts of three AKs are bead blasted and ready for degreasing:


    Getting the stainless pan going on my 50s vintage Coleman camp stove:


    Parts are degreased and reading for dipping:


    It's getting there! A watched pot never boils


    One really keeps hopping once you start this. Here's one and two:


    Here are some bits and pieces like top covers, safety levers and such:


    All three put back together this morning after soaking in finishing oil:









    Some little detail stuff I did was remove the front sight pins, rear sight leaves, hammer and trigger pins and I blued those. I'll take some white paint and do up all the numbers on the leaves later this week.
