Scarce L42A1 provisional training pamphlet SNIPING 1973

For those of us following the M85 thread there has been mention of the need to issue training pamphlets - even if only provisional. See below some pictures from what must be a very scarce issue - Infantry Training Volume 1 Infantry Platoon Weapons Pamphlet No.10 SNIPING 1973. It is a large format, just over 11.5" tall by just over 8", 161 pagesPeter - I assume Warminster has got one of these? This supersedes the old Pamphlet No.10, 1951 for the No.4(T). As things turned out Sniping Pamphlet No.4 1976 became the issue pamphlet for the L42A1. For the observant amongst us note the picture of the CES with the bog standard No.4 rifle cover which is obviously way to short for the L42A1. The correct longer cover is shown in the 1976 pamphlet. Note also the leather sling instead of the nylon one.
