During 1998 up until 2000 when the Parker Hale name had been sold onto Modular Industries, a little known weapon was being developed around the Electric BUSHMAN for the MOD , which never actually made it.
However, hundreds of hours were spent developing the weapon with over 400 rounds per minute, utilising hydraulic damping and slightly bigger than the 1911/A1 rifle with a 24" barrel in 9mm.
Loads of trials were conducted along with the Black Mamba 7.62 rifle which eventually got sold on to a Germandeveloper, but that was the tragedy of the demise of Parker Hale.
We had in our grasps in the UKone of the best gun manufacturers in the world.
I will dig some stuff out on both and post it eventually for debate.
Perhaps Peter may have seen the 9mm Bushman at WarminsterInformation
