Took a friend to Port Clinton for his Birthday last week. Was looking for a NPM for myself. Well here's what followed me home.

Ended up with 2 coming home with me.
The top is the Saginaw SG which was just ugly sitting on the rack. The original potbelly stock had big greek labels all over it and it looked like they varnished over them! I did switch stocks for an old Standard Prod. and it cleaned up very nice. Typical mix master but it's a keeper.

The NPM I chose because it had an IBM barrel. Don't know why that made the decision but it did . Anyway, the stock was a horrible red varnish which took a few days to remove to find just a hint of a CC with IO in the well and .U. on the stock. Upon tearing it down to remove the cosmo I discovered that this one is IBM 100%. (even the recoil plate) I've heard of rebarreling but this one seems to have been rereceivered? Anyway, also picked up the required 30-06 for the big guns and also picked up 3 magazines. One of which turned out to be a perfect I-IP!! Don't think I'll ever afford to get the gun to match though

By the way they both land just a hair over 1 MW.
