I just tripped over a picture of my first regiment in the army, the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Korea. I'm quite sure the picture isn't quite captioned quite right but have no proof. The man with the turned up peak jeep cap is regimental hero Tommy Prince, who fought with the Devils Brigade. The others are a collection of long serving seniors members. What brought my attention is the collection of weapons. One man carrying a Mk 5 Sten, Tommy appears to have a flare gun holster, I can't tell if it's a flare gun in it. The officers seem to have M1/M2s for the most part, 30's taped together in two cases...I've seen the pics years ago, but never notice the weapon irregularities until now.
