    Rc 98k

Been wanting a Mauser and was just about to buy an m48 when I ran across this one. It is hard to beat the look of a Germanicon 98k even if it is a mixed serial number RC with an incorrect finish. Is it me or are these things just very hard to find nowadays? I had to pay more than I wanted to at $425 shipped but am happy just the same as I have my favorite variant without paying out the wazoo for an all original/correct gun and I can shoot the snot out of it without worrying about losing value. I once inherited a pre war commercial sporting rifle that was a work of art but it happened to come from my "ex" father in law and I felt the right thing to do was leave it in that family so I have been needing some kind of replacement every since. This will satisfy for my purposes.
