Son and I murdered the Halloween pumpkin back in November. I used my 1892 M88 Trapdoor (a bringback from the S.P.A.M. with a member of the 12th NY), a M1carbine (NPM 1/44), and a 1917 M1911 Colt. The 45/70 basically destroyed the pumpkin; first 2 shots between the eyes at 50 feet. Son clipped off the stem with the carbine, and I administered the coup-de-grace with 14 rounds of .45 acp.
