Identify Stock/metal marking on my Underwood Carbine?

Rebuild Underwood that has the below marking in the sling opening. It is refinished but would like input on the mark if possible. There are no import marks on the gun but there are some numbers stamped on the left side of the receiver, the bolt has no makers mark I can find but has a letter s and number 6 or is it 9 S?
