Guys,

I have an QHMC, serial #4,843,424 produced in approximately mid March 1944.

The firing pin is marked "BM-Q" in a rectangle. I can not fine any reference in War Baby or Riesch for this marking. The only thing I can find is War Baby marked "B-Q" in a rectangle.

The firing pin appears to be a type "I" converted to a type "II" by grinding, see the below photos.

Would you have any idea where the "BM-Q" came from? Re-arsenal or post war rebuild etc.?

Also the trigger is marked "LT" only, not "LT-Q" as War Baby states it should be for late production. Appears to be a type "II" trigger. Any thoughts on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
