Unique Type 38 Heavy Barrel Sporter

This is the first and only Arisakaicon I've ever seen that was re-barreled but is still in it's original chambering. Anyone else?
Barrel is 26'' long with a muzzle diameter of .705'' giving the rifle a hefty weight of 11 1/4lbs empty.
