Just to get folks warmed up for the Centenary of ANZAC Day; rum and milk optional, milk especially so.....as for the rum? You haven't lived 'til you have washed down bacon and eggs with a decent belt of neat, overproof, Bundaberg Rum before the sun comes up! (This practice is known locally as a "Gunfire Breakfast")

For those wanting more, (anniversaries, not rum), the following day (26th) marks:

50th of the "start" of Viet Nam war,

150th of the US Civil War Battle of Selma.
