Yugo SKS now has Chinese Cousin

I've had my lone-SKS Yugo for around five years now, and really like it. It's in unissued condition, all matching s/n, fun and cheap to shoot; groups about 10 inches at 300 yards with Wolf 122gr FMJ.

And today I just took delivery of my second SKS, a 1963 Chinese Type 56 from J&G Sales, hand-select. Still scooping away the layers of cosmoline, but am already impressed: All matching s/n - wood and steel; wood is very good/not quite excellent - with no serious gouges, scratches, or bruises. Barrel and gas tube surfaces are around 80% faded blueing, more like a uniform dark stainless finish, with no scratches or pitting. Bayo is immaculate. It will be several days before I get the bolt and bore completely cosmoline-free, but I'm anxious to see the bore condition, and then get it out to the range with cousin Yugo for an SKS shoot-off throw-down.
