    Me too! I may be a pretty fair rifleman, but I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a bow and arrow, even 15 yards away.

    When I was a young buck in the early 1970s, I did a LOT of pig hunting (mostly Black Russians and Russianicon/feral cross) in California in the Los Padres National Forest and the Salinas Valley where the pigs come down from the hills and destroy crops. I used a No 4 Mk I sporterized .303 Britishicon with Federals now extinct 215 grain load. Towards the end, I switched to a Ruger 44 Mag Carbine loaded with Norma 240 grain rifle rounds. That little Ruger 44 Carbine was a pig thumping SOB! I wish I still had it.
