Some Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Bayonets

I have never considered myself a bayonet collector, but find a growing number squirreled away. Some of you will know how that happens - you buy a gun that comes with a bayonet, you like it, then you find you "need" to complete the collection.

So it has been with Swiss bayonets. I love the Schmidt-Rubin firearms for their workmanship, and the bayonets that were issued to those guns are every bit as well made, and are IMO among the most beautiful ever issued. The other nice thing about collecting Swiss fireams and bayonets is that it is conceivable that you could accumulate a complete collection - not something you can say for Mausers.

Pictured below are four of my bayonets that cover the transition from M1889 to K31 - a period of about 75 years. Enjoy.
