    I can't offer much, but I believe that the edge piping on two in the first picture identifies corps or service. The ones with the silver edge only ribbon is a rank indicator - Unteroffizier or Feldwebel, I think. I believe the one with all silver ribbon on it is a junior officer, but there might have been pips there to indicate a higher rank. The middle top piece in the second picture is collar tab - white I think is infantry.
