Dear all, I just acquired a new hungarian Mosin Nagant M52 sniper.

A very experienced collector, a friend of mine, says it is most probably a fake or perhaps assembled with original parts by some importer.

The main issue is the mismatch between the gun serial number BC5624 and scope number 4580.

Also the stock seems mismatched (serial 522)

(NOTE the 2230 on the right side of the receiver is the number that identifies this rifle in the Italianicon weapon catalogue, requested by law till few years ago.)

What do you think? I kindly request a validation from the forum

I add some photos, tell me if you need more and if you can access the archive, it's the first time for me!

I also add:I live in Italy so perhaps the prices are different but how much is the value of my rifle?

It is less than an equivalent original russian WWII PU mosin sniper?

Many thanks to all!
Giuseppe
