It's 50 years............

It's 50 years ago today, 17th December 1965 that we passed out from 3 year apprentices to regular Armourers from the old Army Apprentices School at Carlisle. We were 3rd class Armourers, on probation for 6 months when we would be upgraded to 2nd class. We were still 'trainees' for the next 2 years during which time we were expected/required to attend a further 17 week 1st class course.

And I'm still learning...........
