Regarding your post 7 Vincent, yes there should be enough information, looking at the drawing, in Peter's book on page 142 to do exactly the same conversion today. All that is needed is an original "donor" skeleton stock to provide the raw material. Provided that the drawing is read properly the resulting pistol grip should be exactly the same to the examples which Canadaconverted over 60 years ago. The only difference would be the date of conversion. This pistol grip should be much more comfortable than it's British
cousin because of the curved shape of the metal used as apposed to the flat stock used in the British version.
