    Shortened SLR

There was a Deac sold of a shortened SLR that the seller said was used by the SAS of both Aus & N.Z which raised a few eyebrows me as well at the price and authenticity.
I had a look through a book I have 40 Years of the Australianicon SAS By Mick Malone who was in the SAS and did a combat tour in VN, here is a pic proof the SLR's were field modded (Shortened) in Vietnam to suit fighting in the jungle.

I do not know why pics are not posting correctly, as once I have uploaded and ready to attach there is a question mark in the box instead of the intended picture like it used to display?
