I recently picked up a Lithgow manufacture mkIII dated 1919 under the lithgow logo with a marking on the buttstock of 1943. I decided to buy this particular rifle because it seemed to be in an overall better shape then most I have seen. My question is whether or not the stock has been refinished as it looks suspiciously nice for its apparent age. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. ThanksInformation
