Hi there, I have a No.32 Mk.3 scope which functions well enough but like so many the paint finish has seen better days and in many places has worn and chipped. Now to me it is not imperative that it looks "perfect" but it would be nice to touch up a few of the areas where paint is missing. I'm not inclined to start splashing away with a three inch brush and a tin of hammerite but I do have some surplus suncorite 259. Would this paint be deemed acceptable for careful, minor touching up purpose? Or would the concencus be that it is better left as is? Opinions would be valued, thanks folks!
