I have been away for some time in New Zealand, for my mothers 90th birthday. I did not have much time for shopping and was only able to get to a couple of used book stores. Nothing interesting in them but I picked this book up in another store. BTW, think youselves lucky for the prices here in NA, the prices in NZ!!

Well, the book. Some we have all read before but there was also a lot of info about the activites in France about which \i knew little. It also had a lot of comments about past and current actions, up to the Gulf war. There is no newer info, although this copy of the book was first published in 2007. There is an earlier Penguin edition out.

All in all, I found the book an enjoyable read and recommend it to readers of militry history.
