Told my good friend at the LGS I like Japaneseicon rifles and keep a lookout for me. Stopped in last week and he had put one back for me. When I looked at it I was excited to see it still had the AA wings and cleaning rod and all numbers matched. The mum and other goodies were missing.

It had evidently been sitting around for all these years because there was light surface rust on the metal. The stock was really in good shape with the usual nicks and dings from one that had been in combat.

After cleaning the rust off the metal I found the blueing to be in great shape with a very dark color and the screws are still staked. It turns out that it is a Kokura series 20 which will make me my second one. I made me up some reloads for it and will try to get to the range soon.
