Finally got around to stripping down a 1916 BSA that was FTR'd in 1953. Everything was looking really good until I noticed a crack at the very back of the stock where the stock bold comes through. Crack is simple with no serious damage and the small steel plat in that area is not deformed in any way. Would appreciate any input regarding repair procedure for this. Pretty sure I have read about it previously, but have not been able to relocate info. Forend is otherwise in great shape as is remainder of wood and all numbers are matching. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks, Sheppsan
