Had an enjoyable practice shoot at the Range yesterday with my rebuilt No4(T).
It made me stop and think that my pleasure was a result of the work of three forum members who generously share their knowledge and time, often without receiving due thanks.
Thank you to Peter Laidlerfor spending countless hours rebuilding my Telescopic sight. Thank you for charging me for what you considered to be fair time rather than time taken. Thank you for giving this scope another 60 years of service.
Thank you to Roger Paynefor researching, manufacturing and supplying me one of your superb brackets. It holds a true zero.
Thank you to Thomas Smith (tbonesmith) for replacing my rusted out barrel and for ensuring that the bedding of my rifle is spot on. The rifle shoots with 1/2" MOA accuracy - unfortunately I often don't.
Whilst it is several years since Peter, Roger and Tom individually helped me, yesterday I again enjoyed the fruits of their labours. So thank you Gentlemen.Information
