Not a valuable piece or factory but just a little know how from an old timer at some point. I can only assume this was made for hunting purposes or maybe shooting off a bench (which I highly doubt). It holds five rounds and functions perfectly, at least with the ammo I tried in it. The M2 makes very short work of it
