My ALL matching 1917 BSA SHTLE with Canadianacceptance marks. Lucky to get this with ZERO rust or pitting. Im converting it from sport back to original. So far stripped metal of all oil...had to bring top wood to plain metal surface that part was ordered but had rust so i reblued...wood and metal treated so far i just need a forend. Ill add more pics as i go. Metal is soaking thats why so shiny. 100 year old brass now shines after ugly black stains and dull color removed. im usuall very strict with completely stripping metal down to bare virgin metal then rebluing but this baby ill leave as is for the worn look.
