Just going through certain thought process' and wondering...since there's a protracted shortage of #5 LE F/H on the market and of course on guns themselves...
I was thinking of having a local man I know that is a die maker by trade to make some. He has full CNC machines and all the staff and knowledge in the industry to do it. I wonder if I procure a good example and we extract it so it can be drawn correctly, and our end product is good...these would sell? They'd be in the white and no pin holes. I'd suspect we would go a couple thousandths small in the inside and barrels could be touched so they're tight. Holes need drilling and pins installed. Carry on and blue.
What problems can you see? I think these would sell through dealers imported into the US, because that's about how it would need to go...Australia and the UK to individuals and of course Canada is simple. What would they sell for? I see Gunparts, but they have NONE and likely won't ever again. None available worldwide. Seldom on the sales sites and forums...
I'd need to make a run and pay for them and then send them off from there. If it doesn't pay then...not worth it.
Problems? Thoughts?Information
