A different way to see the insides of a 98K

I have two hobbies: restoring and collecting Milsurp rifles and photography. I often combine the two. Just a few days ago I pulled my 98K, Russian Capture out. I gave it a thorough cleaning, tweaked a few things, and repaired a bolt that wouldn't fully retract (thanks to some help from this forum I was able to fix that). While it was in pieces I thought I would try a photo project. I wanted to photograph all the pieces of the action just like they would appear in a loaded and cocked rifle. Without x-ray vision, (which digital cameras don't' have and even if they did, x-rays don't penetrate steel), that is impossible...unless one cheats. I shot each individual piece of the action by itself, made each photo a contrasting color, combined each piece in the position it would normally be, and adjusted the opacity of each photo so that when combined you would be able to see through the outer pieces. Sounds easy maybe, but 24 photos and six hours later this is a regular pic of my rifle (the out) and then the insides.
