    WW1 CANADIAN CAVALRY CHARGE

    This weekend see's a troop of Canadians and their horses dressed as they were on the 30th March 1918 attack a small wood called Moreuil. What happened that day as they charged under command of Lt Flowerdew has been written many times since. The only difference with this particular cavalry charge was the wood was lined with Germanicon Machine gun posts and they ran into a hail of lead.
    I would rather you read the attached below and watch the video on Cavalry actions in general, which does have a lot of interesting pieces on the weapons the lads used in WW1.
    RIP to all those that fell that day and the senseless killing of so many horses in war!
