    Could become a tricky thread...
    I just think that the EU should be a weak overstate co-ordinating some crucial topics among the States (defense, confederate taxes, international politics).
    All the rest should be the single states’ business.
    In a few words, a Confederation of strong states with an upper, weak and neutral guide.
    The current beaurocracy (not elected) has tranformed the EU in the Sovieticon Union of Europe, where slowly but steadily, also the freedom of speech is being reduced.
    It is a nightmare slowly coming true.
    It is a great pity, because the initial idea was extremely sensible and could (should) have evolved in the most wonderful continent in which to live. As free people.

    That said, I’ll restrain from any other political topic, because they are too divisive and misunderstandings are as easy as fresh water (literal translation of one of our sayings).
