I'm a range safety officer at one of the local ranges. Yesterday a young gentleman approached me concerned about his Enfield No. 4 Mk I. He wanted to know if something was wrong with his rifle and why his bullets were hitting the target sideways. He was shooting at 50 yards.
I couldn't help but start laughing when I looked through the spotting scope and saw how perfect the hols were and the sear number of them. While I have seen keyholing before, I have never seen so many on one target with perfect outlines like this, you can even see the boat-tail. I told him that it was more than likely his ammo and as it turned out he was shooting that garbage Russian Wolf Ammo. Once he tried some PPU everything was fine.
