    New bike, New project

We have a face book thing going from a local Ducati dealer any bike pre 1993 do it up with progress pictures so here's mine and my sons effort.
A 1991 CBR250RR brought for the pricey sum of $1500/Au it was a good excuse to get another bike anyway this one has a few issues mainly lights but that's easy fixed we are looking at new fairings $630/Au, reupholstered seats and some touch ups here and there.
Its done 104,000klm but these go forever a mate blew his up at 300,000klm.

And this from a little 250 that can scare some bigger bikes as this thing redlines at 19,000Rpm.
It has a brand new Musari slip on, new grips, brand new Pirelli tyres F/R and just been serviced.
The rear shocky is toast and the speedo's a bit wonky but easy fixed I will endeavour to post pics as its transformation is going to be rather different.
The motor we seem to think according to the local honda shop may have been rebuilt by them at 90,000 if so that is a great bonus.
It gets going at 12000 to the red line and is quite surprising and flicks around tight turns very well indeed allot of people race these they are just that good.
So I was going to call it "The Baby Blade" as I have a 2009 Repsol 1000RR Fireblade but my best mate come up with what they used to call the Kwaka 500 3cyl 2 strokes of the 70's.
"The Hiroshima Screamer" so the name stuck we wont be doing anything for a while as the bigger bikes have had some much needed rubber, and I gotta build another shed!

The Panigale V4's Pirelli Supa Corsa II rear tyre set me back $485/Au and are only good for 8000klm before you go and say try shoeing an F450.
My commodore tyres are $450/Au a pop so I know what really good tyres can cost I just wont scrimp on cheap arse rubber or re-treads never.
    Cheers.
